About the Stay In Touch Program (S.I.T.)

The Stay in Touch Program (S.I.T.) is a confidential after care program for victims and survivors of domestic violence. The S.I.T. Reflection Group is a community based group, accepting all who have received services from the Prince George’s County Family Justice Center.

The program offers 14 weeks of continued emotional support and encouragement. If survivors wish to continue once the 14 weeks have concluded they may do so.

There are no fees for this service.

Mission Statement

The S.I.T. Program will provide a caring, supportive, safe, and education based environment for survivors of domestic violence.
S.I.T. members provide hope and support to one another. In fulfilling this important mission, the S.I.T. Program will create a space and environment for survivors to be heard, understood, and believed.

Promote and create a safer community through awareness, education, information, and advocacy.
